Wendy Oliver
Wendy opened in touch studios in September 2010.  She believes that the health & fitness industry has lost its direction by becoming a machine for financial gain, caring less for how people exercise to the point where individual’s exercise programmes may be doing them more harm than good.

Having spent many of her professional years working alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and orthopaedic surgeons, Wendy has achieved a full understanding of working with injury rehabilitation and specific strength & conditioning training.  Before opening in touch studios, Wendy worked hard to establish a high-standard mobile personal training service in and around Bristol.

“I am extremely passionate about the human body and find it incredible how the health and fitness industry influences our habits, beliefs and lifestyles physically and mentally.  Large health clubs have a function but I believe for many people they misguide and mislead, often resulting in personal goals not being achieved.  There is so much more to health and fitness than hours of ‘endurance’ on machines that restrict our body of movement.  Its important for us to understand how our bodies should and like to move.  We are all different, and this is what I aspire to help people achieve."

When Wendy is not working she loves to train, her sport is triathlon and its components, she also enjoys socialising with family and friends and travelling!  “The world is there to be seen, I believe that there is so much to learn from the way others live, and to savor the beauty of what we don’t have around us everyday”.

Mat Souto
Mat always knew that he didn’t want to be sitting in front of a computer all day and health and fitness had always been his career choice.  His passion for helping people make positive changes to their lives mirrors the ethos of in touch studios and he manages the day to day operations here, making him an essential member of the team.

Maintaining relationships, motivating and encouraging clients to train regularly are all part of the personal service of in touch studios and Mat is always there to assist and ensure our clients’ needs are met.  He brings extreme, varied and fun workouts to the studios and tailors them to every individual driving in touch studios forward.

Sport has always been a part of Mat’s life.  He played football and tennis at County level from an early age, has competed in numerous MMA events, and currently bases his training around martial arts.  Mat is a keen motor sport enthusiast and loves to socialise with friends in these environments.

Easton Willock
Easton’s previous career role was in the social care sector, meaning he has always had to focus his professional role around clients personal needs and achievement of goals.  He decided to take this forward and combine with his love of fitness and has currently worked in the industry for the past four years.

Easton brings a quirky sense of humour to the in touch team alongside a knowledge of nutrition and healthy eating for maintaining ideal body weight and promoting successful outcomes for clients.  His interests include; cycling, climbing, flexibility and martial arts, he also enjoys using suspension training and other body weight exercises to assist clients in optimising functional strength.

David Woods
David specialises in effective weight management, nutritional advice, exercise for lower back pain, sports conditioning and corrective exercise. Having been in the industry for over 15 years he brings a wealth of experience to the team, including experience of competing in both rugby and martial arts.  He enjoys putting clients through their paces using free weights, kettle-bells, power clubs and suspension training, using the work of fitness professional Alwyn Cosgrove as an inspiration, he is sure to achieve results for in touch clients.

David brings motivation and energy alongside fun, effective and cutting edge workouts.  He believes that with the right attitude, anything is possible.

 


Jessie Jane
Jessie is the in touch studios mascot.  She is the adorable, but energetic puppy.  Jessie welcomes everyone with playful paws and her job is to love you and ask if you would like to play.

She loves to go out on long woodland runs with her mummy, lie in the sun chewing sticks whilst listening to Pink Floyd tracks and nuzzle up to anyone who is willing to give her a cuddle.
